Are galvanised steel pipes suitable for chlorinated swimming pool water?

NO NO NO the clorine will eat away at the pipes. use pvc pipe instead. All pool installers use pvc pipe..

Not a good idea!!! The chemicals from the pool water will eat away at those pipes. The chemicals will build up inside and cause big problems. Only use PVC.
