I have the same problem, I have gained 5 pounds and will be six months at the end of this month. I had my first child and gained 10 pounds in the last month(to a total of 17 pounds gained), and had a perfectly healthy daughter. My doctor is not worried,as the baby is growing fine. If the doctor is not worried, you shouldn't be.
I eat healthy, though I indulge my cravings. I have eaten like crazy both pregnancies and have had trouble gaining with both. I have never had a problem.
Just eat healthy and take your vitamins.

As of today, I am 4 days overdue (was due on October 10). I have only gained a total of 4 pounds throughout my entire pregnancy. And to beat it all, I'm a fairly large woman to begin with (size 16) so I thought I would gain a ton. Doctors say that the baby is not only healthy, but also BIG with a very strong heartbeat. Sometimes babies used your stored fat for nourishment. It is completely normal and healthy and all the experts agree that women like us are in the lucky minority. Good luck with the rest of your preg, and don't worry about the weight!

If you're doing what you can and you still aren't gaining much weight but the baby is doing fine then there's really nothing you can do. You may just have a very fast metabolism. You aren't being a bad mom because of something that you can't control. If you're baby is doing fine then you should have nothing to worry about. There are lots of pregnant women out there who don't gain much weight while being pregnant.

Don't worry about it. As long as the baby is doing fine (growing and developing normally) and your doctor says it is okay, then trust them!
I just started my 7th month and I have only gained around 10 pounds. My doctor warned me that I may soon pop out. Normal weight gain through an entire pregnancy is 15-25 pounds, and you still have time, so don't worry about it :)+

I had only gained 9 pounds by the start of my 6th month. Then I really popped and now I'm gaining rapidly. You don't need to gain a lot of weight to have a healthy baby. Just eat the right foods and let your body do it's thing. :)

I actually lost weight with all of my pregnancies. It is distressing, but remember that the baby gets what it needs nutritionally from your blood supply. Your not gaining weight won't hurt your baby as long as you keep eating healthy to replenish what the baby takes. Relax and enjoy the fact you won't have to exercise off 20 lb.s of baby weight at the end!

If your doctor says it's fine then stop worrying. they would tell you if it wasn't healthy. you are not a bad mom for not gaining 30lbs! as long as your baby is growing and getting all the nutrients it needs then you are doing fine.
