I have been trying to apply falsies in without the tell tale glue (ugh so annoying!) I know there are beauty shops that do it but I don't want to risk any injuries you know? So does anyone know how to apply them and also are there any falsies that can stick on its own without applying the glue? Thanx!!

Recommended adhesives, sold in Britain, include Duo Adhesive (GBP 5, or about US$9) or M.A.C. (GBP 7, or about US$13). The key to good-looking lashes is decent glue/adhesive, so make sure you spend your money on the glue. Cheap ones are a waste of time.
Line your eyes with a smokey eyeliner to help disguise palette. Pick up the lashes with tweezers and line the palette with ue using an orange stick. Blow gently on the glue to make it tacky. The lashes will stick to your eyelid better. Hover the false eyelashes over the eye and slowly place the them in the outer corner first, making sure they are the right size for your eyes. Hold them in place for a couple of seconds (or until the glue is quite dry), then continue attaching the eyelashes towards the inner corner in the same way. Squeeze lashes together with natural lashes and add mascara to blend.

Apply a REALLY tiny thin line of glue and adhear to eyelid right long your natural lash line.

Use Liquid eye liner to hide the glue!!!

Works everytime!

I use them all the time in theater. The glued on ones really are the best. I used to wear them all the time everyday in the 80's but now only on stage or for really special occassions. But the liquid eyeliner is key!!

Your eyelashes will look natural if you use the ones that are individual. Make sure you put them on to the outside of your eye, maybe 3 at the most. Apply your liner first, then again after applying. There are "falsies" (if you're talking about boobs here) that stick to your skin and feel very real. Look on ebay.

Dot very small spots of glue along the edge of the eyelashes, and then apply to the skin just above your real lashes. Press firmly and hold for a minute or two. Self-adhering lashes, in my experience, do not work well at all.

yes there are false eyelashes that stick on their own, but it's better to use the eyelash glue. i've done them a few times and the glue doesn't hurt when they come off, at all! that's the good thing cause i was scared of trying them too because of that :) well go to Sally's Beauty Supply or another beauty supply store, i 'm sure they could show u all your choices..:)
