I have a friend in LA who shops at Loehmann's and finds really nice designer labels there. I don't have that where I live, so I usually buy online:

Nordstrom actually has really decent sales on designer labels.
You should check out H&M though, they are very reasonable, but their clothes mostly have their label.

Well Stitches is good, they carry bongo, but i dont know if they're in the U.S. (i live in canada) Winners is too...but the only real brand is parasuco and most of it is inappropriate.

Nordstroms. They have very expensive clothing but they also have clearance racks that have incredible prices.
