I am moving to Israel and need to buy a laptop when I get there. Where can you buy a macbook/ibook in Israel? What about voltage and compatibility and all that jazz? Thanx

Order it of Apple, they deliver free of charge and are cheaper than dealers.

There's electronics stores all over Israel in every city - Technology is big there. The voltage is much much different that the US... a US comp will blow up if plugged in and turned on in Israel, I've seen it happen. But, you can buy a converter, most of the newer laptops are compatible with both voltages, so you may only need a plug adapter (2 bux in Israel) - but check first to make sure the voltage can be switched!
Oh and remember if you're buying a new comp in Israel - even in an electronics store - you can bargain for the price! Haggling is fun. ;)
