My friend and I want to be Christian singers. I already write music. I was wondering if anybody had any advice to help us.

To be a christian artist I would say you need 4 things:
1. A passion for Christ
2. Talent
3. A lot of hard work
4. A little luck
Things to do :
1. Get in your churches or another churches praise or youth praise band now.
2. Start getting together with others that have the same interest and put together a Christian Band and start playing cover tunes as well as working on your own stuff.
3. Find opportunities at concerts or festivals to talk to current artist on how they got in the business.
4. Once you get a set of music together offer to play for your youth group or even the whole church. If it goes well look for opportunities to branch out and play for others.
If it doesn't work out you will always be able to find a praise band to play in on Sundays while you do another job during the week.
Stay passionate and share your love of Christ will others through your music.

Well first of all. Nice going.My girlfriend and I are both C
Christians and we have a daughter who has a great voice.If you belong to a church ,talk to the minister ,priest,etc.Also listen to Christian music stations and get their address and or number.Send them some of your tapes. Also look into the Christian TV stations.Try Christian bookstores also.If you get some tapes ask them to play them during the day for you.Maybe work out a deal with them.Good Luck to you and God Bless!

If you truly are good then this would be a God given gift and He will see you to were you need to go. Approach Him in prayer for guidance, to often we try to do things on our own power and forget the God given help that is there for the asking. He will lead you in what to do.

well its a slim to none chance that you make it but if you too are really talented you can just try to form a band and git some gigs then you will be noticed by some big time person in the music industry

If it's important to you , COMMIT to it. If you've givin it your best-shot , you'll be happy no matter the outcome.

prayers never hurt and practice practice practice . when you feel your ready to start singing . sing for your church and go to local churches and ask to sing for them ... keep doing this and it will grow.the more your heard the better opportunities you ll get . great luck

just ask ur prenats what to do. and even ask God. pray, pray, and pray even more. and just practice.
