i know take him in a didfernt room but that dosent work becaue for some reason he knows that when i'm there that his mom is leaving even though i'm there sometimes when she dosnet leave i have to watch him tonight what is a fun game i can play with him that will make him stop crying HELP!!!

I'll bet if you just put on a headset and listen to music to block out his crying, and just let him cry himself out while you continue to watch him close and comfort him, that he'll stop crying in just a very few minutes. And when he does, be certain to do something really fun with him that you know he likes! In fact I'll bet if you continue to watch him often enough, he'll begin to like you watching him and one day Mommy will leave and he won't cry. I'd say the best thing you can do is establish a fun relationship with the little guy. Why not try visiting more often when mom's not leaving and just go for the purpose of playing with him. Maybe he likes to swing or piggyback rides?? Try stuff like that and you'll be well on your way to winning that boy's heart. :) :)))

Some kids are just very intune with their parents and know when they have left. It is just seperation anxiety. Most kids go through it. anything to keep his mind off it may work. try a singing clapping type of game. something that will get his mind going to something other than his mom leaving. He will stop crying eventually. Sometimes you just have to let them cry it out. if all else fails then let him cry for a few minutes and then try the distraction. keep trying every few minutes until he has calmed down enough.

All I can say is distract him. Also if he knows that when you come that means moms leaving go over there when she isnt going to leave. It will help him see that its ok that you are there. Put in a movie or get out a toy that he loves to play with. You can also take him for a walk or a drive when she is about to leave so then when you guys get back shes already gone and he wont see her leave.

well first off you shouldn't be taking him into the other room when his moms leaves. She needs to be strong for his son and kiss him goodbye, tell him she loves him and will see him later. He'll cry b/c hes very attatched to his mommy and babies go through that. I know with my son he's 14 months old and when i leave my friend gives him the phone and hes happy..lol..are you close to his mother.. As for a fun game my son loves paddy cake, light and sounds toys, a cookie maybe.

He'll always cry when she leaves, but eventually you will find something else to get his attention, and your time will go on as usual.
Its natural for a baby to cry when mom leaves. Dont take it personally.

Find out what character he likes. Watch a tv show {cartoon} that likes. or give him a snack that he likes. Good Luck
