I got pinched 7 years ago trying to take marijuana across the border 25Lbs. Can I get that Federal Felony expunged or Is it Permanent

You might strike it lucky and get a pardon. Marc Rich did. Abramoff dealt with such stuff -- somebody must have taken his place as bag man for the Republican Party. Check it out.

You can hire an attorney and file the documentation for expungement, but, I can nearly assure you if you served prison time, it won't be granted. Being out of jail and off supervised release just over two years won't cut it. Possibly if you wait 10 years from the date of release, it could happen. It'll be expensive and there are no guarantees. The problem is that even if it is expunged, with the data available to background investigators, your conviction will still be found and you won't be hired because you didn't put it on your application. Good luck though.

Sorry to say but that's permanent unless by some extraordinary circumstance it is pardoned but even then it's still on your record...they just put a little sign beside your convicted that says "pardoned"--it doesn't disappear
