I dreamt that I was outside a huge church with many spires, possibly in Seattle. It looked similar to Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. The church was so huge that I felt extremely tiny by comparison and overwhelmed by it, but it was incredibly beautiful and ancient.

I'd say the big church is your symbol for big religion. You stand outside of it, feel small compared to it, but you are still impressed by its tradition and you see the beauty in it. You are trying to process your feelings about religion and you are accepting your processing, at least on the subconscious level. Processing is productive thought. Let it flow, Bro.

It might mean a couple things. One is a re-playing of some Church related viewing or TV watching where a church or Churches were involved. A smell that tied together your memory of Saint Basil's Cathedral and the smell you experienced when viewing that Cathedral. Or a sound doing the same connecting.

The other possibility is that you were having a subtle rise in your Apapsyche [Operational Energy of your Soul] and your memory of the Cathedral was what your MIND connected to the Spiritual rise in your Apapsyche.

Peace

The best way to analyze the meaning of a dream is to write down all these things mean to you on a personal basis. Sounds like an anxiety dream and that you're feeling overwhelmed but in awe of a particular person, place or thing. Truth is, sometimes dreams are just your subconcious unpacking all the rubbish that's in your head and don't have any true meaning or relevance.

Always remeber no matter how big your problems are---they pale in comparison to God's power. He is Almighty, All Powerful, and All Consuming. He is also refered to as the "Ancient of Days" and a God who is filled with incredible Love and Mercy.

Dreaming of anything related to church could mean you have some sense of guilt conscience. However, it may not be the case if you have visited some church or seen something like that on movie or news or even magazine.

This is just a metaphor for encounter things greater than yourself, not necessarily something to do with God. It's more like you were floating on a canoe on a small river that flowed into the ocean.
