I was working late at a bar and needed to go to the toilet, which was at the top of a flight of stairs, next to managers office. Manager was off that night and assist. manager was working. whilst rounding the bottom of the stairs I heard keys jangling and looked up stairs to see my manager going around the corner to the office . It was so clear i saw his pink shirt, black trousers, bald head and keys rattling. By the time i got to the top managers door was ajar with the light on. I was going to pop in and say hello, but decided to go to the loo and say hi later. when i came out the door was still ajar. Went downstairs and mentioned to Assist. manager he went pale and run up stairs. when he came down he said im going mad as office was locked and light was off. I called him and he was at home. probably the freakest experience of my life as he is ALIVE not dead. anyone had similar?

Id like to add I was stone cold SOBER at the time and saw him as clear as tho he was standing right in front of me. weird? Imprint in time perhaps? could it not be the same for dead people?

what REALLY freaks me out is what i would have seen if i HAD popped my head around the office door.. gives me goose bumps thinking about it

Liked the imprint on time. If thats what it was, then whatever happened during the imprint would have continued to other side of door. anyway, years ago was in Ireland, between minor towns, using high beams on car. Saw a figure in black in stark relief to the road markings. Glanced and i mean less than a second at speedometer to make sure of stopping, and you guessed it, they gone. The road was wide and I was certainly sober. Can't explain it , heard of similar accounts though.

If you would have popped your head around the door you probably wouldn't have seen anything--spirits can't stay that opaque for more than a few minutes--I had similar at a place I worked, where someone had died (boiled to death in a vat of water used for soaking logs)--we'd see him for just a couple seconds and then he'd "fade out"--it was really cool--he also threw things--that was kind of annoying--we refered to him affectionately as "Leon's ghost"

Well one thing that you may have seen is the end of your life. Just chalk this up to an experence. And let it go at that. This is a very strange world that we live in. And there are times that the para-normal rules.

It's a doppleganger. That happened to me alot with a house I was living in as a kid.
