As it turns out, the sailors who originally came up with the idea were actually seeing manitees and got them confused with people because only a small part of them actually surface (so it was hard to tell it was an animal, and their skin is actually similar to how human skin looks in saltwater).
But because manitees have so much fat on them, they in fact do have big ****. However, they are ugly as yo' mamma, so I'd avoid them.
