I have severe anxiety, I'm convinced that I sent threats to some website to this person I care a lot about.

Could something like that actually make someone a victim of a murderer, rapist, molester etc? I'm really concerned about this person, I don't want to hurt her.

I love her very much, but I've been very sick and I'm afraid my illness is going to make me hurt her, or that it already has.

It does hurt.

Dateline just did a show about online insults. A kid killed himself because he was harassed real bad on the internet. Sure, most ppl out of school say, "Turn off" and block ... but that kid didn't have a chance to learn from his behaviors. Over a period of 1 month ... someone he was talking to kept suggesting that he kill himself ... he did (gulp).

When they tested kids online, it seems that one hostile suggestion inflates, and instantly is spread withing the community. Since users can't see faces, well, they're more ampt to make insults. If they were face to face --- they'd be nice.

So, try to be nice.

The victim will be you when the person finally reports them to the police and they come looking for you. Don't believe me, check out the news.
