Women only please- Do you feel that most women are catty?

Question

I am a women and am very feminine, married, and happy but find myself not fitting in with female family members on my husbands side. They are of varying ages and interests but seem to all belong to that class of women who prefer the company of women, gossip about each other, comment on looks and fashion style, and generally have very little in the way of manners. I much prefer a good serious debate on social issues or business and have found that I much prefer hanging out with older, successful, married men. Even my husband is my best friend and I have very few female friends except for long-time friends. I don't like to be on the phone alot, obsess over shopping and can't stand when my sister-in-law copies my own style or even hair color. Is there anyone else out there like me?

yep! i hav a lot more male friends than the female ones. hey u cant help if u feel that way im not gonna tell u 2 stick it out and to continue keeping thier company cuz in the end its all about pleasing and keeping urself happy.... sooooo if u think theyre not on ur level well....

i have a strong dis like for the women who look out their windows watch their neighbors talk about everyone they know always got to make fun of other peoples clothes or looks. I honestly don't give a CRAP what others wear or what the neighbors do. I think my personality more closely matches yours "i know it's rare". I never find women i get along with socially they all annoy me. There are never educated on current events other then Mr. Jones mowed the lawn across the street crap, his son came home at 2am drunk gossip. I have ONE female friend she's girly and nosy. I do find men are less interested in that stupid stuff women enjoy. HOWEVER i don't have male friends either they all try to screw you.

Yeah me too sister !! That is why I divorce my hub he was controlled by his family and his sister and sister in laws (4 of them) would say I called them B******es I never did and he would take their side over my side so after 9 yrs I said bye to the nonsense and have been happier ever since LOL

Yes, they are catty in general and that's why I have NO female friends. Thought I had one for 17 yrs til she talked her way into my ex fiance's life and married him for his money. Women are not to be trusted. Backbiting, lying, manipulative, etc.........who needs 'em.
