how do i know if my playstation 2 will play imported games

If it has a chip, you have to open it up but I strongly suggest you don't, since chances are you will mess it up, leave it to the pros. Standards PS2s [ sold in stores ] don't have the chip for it, so they only play the games from the country bought.

All PS2 play importted games.

You can only play imported PS2 games on a PS2 that has been chipped.

Search internet for Play station Modding...U can find easy step by step tutorials for it....If u are little bit fimiliar with electronic gadets then it wont be any problem for you to do it urself....but CAUTION IS ADVICE...
