Everybody says there should be no secrets in a relationship, but there are some things you just cannot tell your partner. Yes, there should be an open communication at all times, but the things that you know will cause a strain in the relationship are better left unknown. Sometimes the reason we actually tell our deepest secrets is not really to be completely honest but to relief our selves of a guilt. In this instance I think we are being selfish, because we care more about our own feelings than that of the other person. I think we should think it through before opening our mouth, is the information relevant? If it was in the past and your partner was not in the picture then what does it matter now if she/he knows? I truly believe in total trust and communication, but at the same time, if I know a piece of information will hurt my partner, then I keep it to myself.

Basic trust is a large part of the basis for Love. If you can't trust your spouse with information, you've got a big problem. You've also got a problem if you're doing things you think would anger your spouse so much you couldn't tell them. You should always put the other person's feelings first in a marriage.

The bible talks about becoming "one flesh," and that's not just talking about sex. You and your mate are supposed to make decisions together, encourage each other, raise the kids together and help keep each other out of sin. You can't do any of that without open lines of communication. If you're married anything that is done in secret is not from God. So stop trying to justify something that you know is wrong.

There are just some things he doesn't WANT to know, so I don't tell him. Does that mean I'm keeping secrets from him?

Is it information that will cause hurt and pain? If so, perhaps the relationship needs to be re-evaluated. If not, is it something they really NEED to know? I think there are things that we keep to ourselves that aren't necessarily "secrets." It's a matter of common sense and why is it a secret to begin with?

if you're in love , i dont think there must be any secret , but mainly one will hold back if they tried it once and the partner used it as an evidence later for anything that comes up ...anyway , the game is always like that >> a person tells all the secrets he/she has , and the other one is pretending to be saying everything ...while he/she is a big actor/actress

We should not keep any secrets, because what is in the dark, always come to light. What I trying to say is they will find out anyway. So its better we tell what is going on in our life, then letting someone else tell it.

First, your final theory is the suited. I tell people to not tell me in the event that they like it to be a secret. yet, whether they don't prefer me to tell every physique, I immediately ignore it, by way of fact I definitely have a great sort of issues I ought to submit to in concepts of my own and that i don't ought to hold their secrets and techniques. i don't say something till I definitely have heard it, or maybe then i don't tell them that I knew. I make it a factor to not communicate approximately others and to not communicate gossip. I pay attention to the information and communicate approximately that. prepare makes suited.

None if possible, but......there are times a secret is better to be where it is if it creates more damage then it is doing good.
