DO NOT BUY ANKLE WEIGHTS.... WHY DO YOU WANT TO RUN AROUND, JUMP AROUND WITH WEIGHTS ON YOUR SKINNY ANKLES?>?????? People are dumb to say that.
You can buy Strength shoes. I am a white boy, 5 ft 10 and was dunking after 4 months of working out in them.
until then, do power skips,
power hops,
sprints,
power slides,
jump in place for 15 seconds.
jump rope, 1 min, rest 30 secs, 5 times
do the above at 50 yards, resting 30 secs. 5 times.

Pylometrics is the answer. Read up on it, and
make sure you're in top shape before you start
attempting these types of exercises, since they
are meant for well-conditioned athletes.
