Soak them in the tub with some laundry detergent and a touch of bleach. Swish them up and down. Take them out and put them outside to dry. Might want to take a towel and dry them off to get any left over dirt. That's how I do mine and they look like new again. Or you can take them out in the driveway and spray them off.

Does it seem that no matter how hard you try to keep those mini blinds clean, the dust is back the next day? Well, I have a great tip on how to clean those blinds and keep the dust away longer.
All you need to do is truly put the white glove test to work. Put on a pair of cotton gloves and put your fingers in between the slats in the blinds.
As you run your hand along the blind, the glove will catch the dust and whisk it away.
This method is a lot easier than trying to vacuum them or dust with a rag. If the blinds are dirty, use that same glove but dip your hand in some soapy water before you start.
Now, to keep that dust away all you have to do is grab a dryer sheet. Just dampen the sheet with a spray bottle of water and run it along the blinds.
The reason the blinds get so dirty is because dust is attracted by static in the blinds and the fabric softener sheet eliminates it.
Just two easy and inexpensive steps to help keep your mini blinds looking great!
wesome!!

Miniblinds
Use ordinary soft, clean dust cloths, chemically treated dust cloths, vacuum cleaner brush attachments, or other available ordinary household aids. The paint surface of the slats is quite smooth and dust is easily brushed off if done at regular intervals.
To vacuum, use the brush dust head attachment and tilt slats first up, then down (but not entirely exposed) to reach the entire top and bottom surfaces.
To dust, use a soft clean cloth or chemically treated dust cloth and tilt the slats as above.
To wash, use a damp cloth or sponge and mild detergent. Use warm or cold water - NOT hot water. Tilt the slats as above. Protect the floor or sill from excess water. The blind can also be taken down, placed in a bath tub of mild soapy water, then rinsed clean, wiped dry, or allowed to dry completely in the open air.
Wood Blinds
Care must be taken when cleaning real wood blinds. Washing the blind is NOT recommended. Although the wood is sealed, water or even excessive dampness may cause warpage or discoloration of the slats. Since the surface of the slats is smooth, dust may be easily brushed off at regular intervals using a clean soft dust cloth or a vacuum cleaner brush attachment. Clean them as described above.

Taylee had the best idea, but try this next step. After you soak them in the tub with the laundry detergent, and after you rinse, run them through a cycle of the fabric softener. You see, most folks don't realize that the fabric softener is actually a dust repellent, like dryer sheets. Rinse, hang, etc. So you'll not only have clean blinds but they also won't cling dust right away.

This is what I do. Put them in some hot water and some detergent, just to get off all the loose dust, then I take a sock, put it on my hand, and clean all the slats. It's very easy, much easier than using a wash cloth. Then I get another sock and go over them again to dry them, but you could just hang them up in the shower and they'll dry.

Try and find out the source of the DUST. Change your furnace filter ever 30-45 days.
You can also purchase magnetic type dust cloths or brushes.

Throw them out and buy new ones. Those inexpensive vinyl blinds are available for about $5 - $7. Easier to slip out old ones and replace with new. Voila' done.

If they are plastic/vinyl...you can hang them in your shower or soak them in the tub...
If they are wooden....you'll need to use something like an anti static furniture polish.....and a cloth or one of those handy dandy blind cleaner tools that are available at most hardward/big box discount stores.
