Yankees are AWESOME! I <3 A-rod! Whether he is getting traded or not is not quite clear yet,(at least to me it aint) but I am sure he is not leavin the Yanks. If he does stay tho, he's gonna have a mighty hard time cause Torre is coming back 4 next season and Joe Torre and Alex Rodriguez aren't exactly the best of friends....If he does get traded hopefully he'll go to like a team where he's happy

He's not bad as a financial decision since the Rangers have to pay 10 million a year on his contract still. Keep in mind though he will most likely only go to a contender since he has the full no trade clause and Steinbrenner will make any team give up the farm. I don't see anyone givng the Yankees enough talent back to make worth their while.

A team that will allow him to go back to shortstop. He does have a no-trade clause but I am sure he would like to go some place where he can be the man. My guess is that the Yankees trade him to a NL team that has pitching to be traded. Don't worry about his contract (only about $16 mill for 4 yrs- a deal/ what and see what Soriano makes)

Best bets- Cubs (re-joins Pinella) Long-shot- Angels (wealth of pitching depth makes them a good candidate for trade: also were willing to trade for Tejada.)

Unless georgie stienbrenner is willing to pick up at least 75% of that contract, I doubt he'll go anywhere.

besides the yankees should keep him so that they may continue to be winless in October!
