No, he has split personality. Schizophrenia has symptoms like paranoia, hearing voices, and a disconnection from reality that often includes very complex plots or machinations (like the belief that the New York City sewer system actually feeds into a nuclear power plant that powers secret mind-control systems).

Ed Norton's character doesn't exhibit any of these symptoms - instead, he doesn't always know what's going on and he recalls hanging out with a person who is actually himself. This is closer to (although not really) a split personality disorder.

SPOILER WARNING

And the WTC buildings didn't collapse. Fight Club takes place in Wilmington, Delaware (note the use of the delaware area code, 302, on Ed Norton's business cards). Wilmington is the credit card capitol of the world, and where many major credit companies are based. The plot was to destroy the credit card companies and erase Americans' debt.

yes, but I reckon in a weird sort of way. How can he be down in the kitchen listening to himself doing the wild thing with Helena Bonham Carter up in his bedroom. Well scary !!! and note the collapse of the world trade centre building at the end. Could this film have given ideas to Bin Laden ??? Hmmmm

It looked more like a psychosis due to sleep deprivation. Schizophrenia is more about hearing voices and paranoia. Tyler Durden was more of a split personality due to his lack of sleep and the need for control over his life.
