It depends on what you are going to season the meat with before grilling. If not seasoning the meat I would say a nice red wine like a Cabernet Sauvignon

People will say there are rules, but I like to drink whatever wine I feel like - and it's almost always a red, and usually a cabernet sauvignon or a merlot, or a blend.
