What is the step by step process to change an entire column of numbers from positive numbers to negative numbers and vise versa? Not one number at time.

-Type -1 in a cell off to the side
-Select that cell and copy
-Right-click on the column header of the column that you wish to change
-Choose Paste Special... | Multiply
-Click OK

You are done. The values in the column will be changed without any other copying or pasting.

I'd use a temporary column off to the right and multiply just the first one by -1. Then copy that formula to the entire range... Once it's done, just paste the new values back into the orignal column.

You can't. You must enter negative numbers as following: Precede negative numbers with a minus sign (-), or enclose the numbers in parentheses ( ).
