different.

US tends to teach trades (alas) and is respected for that.
UK tends to teach the Arts and more how to think.
re: above mentioned Cambridge and Kings college are the ultimate.

but there are wide variations on this in each country.

which culture do you want to know more of? which do you like?

Also .. where do you want to live afterwards affects the answer. if US .. then a US college is better. I don't know about other countries.

That depends on your true goals.. your TRUE aspirations.. If you want that degree certificate in your hands with not much effort and if you do not really care about learning much.. then the college in the U.S. is your best bet.. In the UK, there is more effort required of students to attain a grade and your resulting knowledge will be 10-fold

It depends on what you plan to major in. Generally, if you want to major in the sciences, for example, the US is best. Other areas of study might be better studied in the UK.

Anyone who tells you that one country is "10-fold" better than the other, or that you have to work harder in one country than the other really doesn't know what he or she is talking about but has given you a knee-jerk reaction based on personal opinion and not facts.

it depends on what fiels of study u want to take up and mainly it depends on ur FINANCIAL BECKGROUND. ALL THE BEST, CHOOSE THE BEST. i would say getting into the US is very very tough and u need to write SAT and TOEFL and getting a visa is DAM tough believe me it's DAm tough and for UK u need to write on IELTS and it is comparitively easy to get the visa also. anyway again ALL THE BEST.
