No.Its a question,which is what Yahoo Answers is about,plus you have answers to your question,so it cannot be pointless!!! I get two points,you get a thumbs up,everyone is happy!!! So,no,it wasn't pointless, was it!!

If you have to ask, than it probably is.
On the other hand it got me an extra 2 points, so maybe it isn't entirely pointless.
Of course if it gets me another 10 points for best answer, then it really won't be pointless. Therefore by voting for me you will have given this question meaning and purpose. (hint hint, wink wink...)
