why is saqlain not in the team when he isoneofthemost sussessful bowler in tearms of wicket taking?is he unfit?but he is out iof the team for the last few years?

first ...he was dropped...as r idiot selectors thought that he is not a good enough bowler...they thought that shoaib malik is beter than hin in ODIs n kaneris is better in test matcches...but its not true...malik n kaneria r not even n inch of saqlain's classs...he was a legend...he got dropped coz of politics...rashid n waqar didnt like him...n he got drop..aamir sohail..the then selector has personal problems with him n he dropped him...saqlain has 288 wickets in 168 matches at a phenomenol average n striue rate..he inventd the DOOSRA...he could bowl in the last 10 overs without gon 4 runs!!! he also has 208 wickets in 50 test matches....million times b better than kaneria.....ask sachin...he will tll u what a genius was saqqi!! steve waugh said...saqlain is the best off spinner..n the most genious of the n bowlers around!!! but alas..hes no more!!
when he was dropped...he played a bit county cricket n got injured...got his kness operated n was declared not fit enough to play more :( ...n now he is with saeed anwar more into preachin religion!!!
but this world lost a class player very early

Selector have found that Danish Khaneria is presently a better bowler as compared to Saqlain Mustaque and have as such preKhaneria to Saqulain

yes, unfortunately pakistan's cricket has always been dodged with politics and internal rifts ... no wonder pakistan has not achieved what she should with world calss players playing in every era ...
saqlain mushtaq is a the casualty of wasim akram / waqar younis controversy ... he was too closed to wasim having palyed domestic cricket with him for PIA, jus like moin khan ... and hence, is out of the team ...
one of the best off spinners of all times ... its a shame really ...

Well he took 1 wicket for 204 runs in his last international match. FYI, spelling is Mushtaq

he is perfectly fine its that the PCB doesnt want him to play....not really sure i dont like him....i like shahid afridi and naved ul hasan and muhammad yusaf.....by the way i lived in pakistan for 3 months i can write read speak and understand URDU the language....infact i have been to many countries and done the same thing(with a IRISH background i am one of the most special tourist)...E.K

like our former captain ganguly, he waste his opportunity...
his comeback match against India also not good either..
kaneria bowl well for pakistan now so there is no place for saqlain..
