It wont interfere BC the test looks for HCG which is a hormone only found in pregnant women

Well soap does not contain HCG which is the hormone you produce when you are pregnant. So no it should not interfere. The only time you want to use sterile cup is if you have a urine sample you need to test for infection or something specifically. But I used a plastic cup (that is all I had at home) and I was positive. Also you can get the pee sticks that you just pee right on. Those are easier. Good luck

Personally I would collect all of the urine in a throw away cup. I wouldn't be able to pee long enough on the strip itself! With the pregnancy tests I have taken, I collected as much as I could in a throw away cup, and then dipped the stick in there for however long the test said. Worked for me every time! But do make sure its first morning pee! Best of Luck!

If you are worried about that just hold the container under hot running water for a few minutes, dry it with a clean paper towel and you will be all set.
Good Luck

If you truly want a sterile container your best bet is to get one from your doctors office. They have special container they consider sterile.

as long as its clean enough for you to drink out of its clean enough for a pregnancy test. Sterilization isn't required.

If you have a dish washer take a glass or jar and run it through, use that or take a glass,or jar wash it then poor boiling water on it .inside and out that should do the trick.
