I agree with a previous comment above.
Dumbing down.
People R dumb coz they're being treated like they're Dumb!
Society has decided 2 take a softly-softly approach 2 Education. A wacky answer 2 the lack of good educational results wasn't 2 get kids 2 work harder, but it dumb it down & hopefully the numbers may look a bit more favourable!
I know that's only 1 area that's rotten, but where there 1 there's others.
Crime 4 example, all geared 2 pity the criminal & let him off a few more times.

I do think that you are absolutely right! It IS getting worse all the time. And, I have a theory....
When groups get OVERpopulated, more infighting and craziness seems to develope, even in lesser organisms. The lash out at each other and at others from outside groups, in an effort to develope and maintain a distinct personality. Over crowding seems to do crazy things to all of us.
Humans tend to OVER compensate for things.....when we don't like something, we try to be opposite of that thing.....perhaps even MORE extreme than them, only opposite. Then....the OTHER side tries to outdo OUR side....and so on....! It just deteriorates more and more.

Because trailer trash and idiots keep breeding, while smarter, educated people tend to wait until they are older and married to have children. Since they are educated they usually realize that 1 or 2 children is ENOUGH.
