There is always a formula. Problem. Problem addressed. Working through the problem. Problem solved. Lesson learned.
Not to mention they completely stereotypes EVERYONE. Lower-Middle Class Whites, Lower Class Whites, Teenagers, Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, etc etc etc. Meredith Baxter or Lindsay Wagner are always in these dreadful made for TV movies.

Yes, I watch them for a few minutes to get the plot. Then I change the channel.

You are male. Lifetime is television for women.
And I agree!
I want to see Lindsay Wagner battling evil fembots!
Where can I see re-runs of the Bionic Woman???!!!!
Now that is must-see TV.

Ah...THe joy of made for tv movies...Unfortunatly, even though they ARE so bad, they still get a good audience. I have to admit that I too have been sucked into the black hole of one too many Lifetime movies. I think maybe its the strong female heroine that we dont see in many movie theatre movies that i.s especially attractive to women? Plus, these movies have such a small budget, they're bound to be cruddy

Hey lots of females are hooked on them. Woman as victim, woman as evil, same old s---. the old Oprah Winfrey crapola. I will admit though that I could not resist watching the one about the crazy San Diego socialite/border personality woman who blew away her ex and his new wife. If you don't like it just change the channel.

Lifetime is a channel for middle-aged women with nothing to do but take care of their kids. Lifetime is supposed to give middle aged women something to do.

Lifetime?
You should check out the Sci-Fi Channel. REALLY really god-awful movies. Highly cheesey, and just pathetic. You can't even enjoy making fun of them they're that bad.

Because they used to be USA Network movies. There have been two made-for-tv movies that were any good. "Buried Alive" with Tim Matheson and "The Morrison Murders," billing forgotten.

Gee, you must have watched a lot of them to know they are so bad, huh! Just tune out if you don't think they are worth your time. And it's "horribly."
