To name a few, some are infamous in the 80's, coming from East Germany you couldn't be sure they were female or steroid free.

Francina "Fanny" Blankers-Koen,the London Games when she won four gold medals. She won the 100m, 200m, 80m hurdles and ran the anchor leg on the winning relay team.
