You can buy a scraper (just like a paint scraper) at any paint or hardware outlet
You can mix baking soda (bicarbonate of soda) and water into a paste, wipe it on, leave a few minutes. Use the scraper to remove burnt matter, wipe of & finish with a wipe over with white vinegar & polish with a soft cloth.
Cheap, easy & it does work

It may take several trys with elbow grease, but 1st get you a can of bar keeper's friend (something like ajax/comet).also have a box of baking soda & a bottle of super strength mean green..
Start by getting the area damp w/mean green spray, let set about 5 minutes, sprinkle with bar keepers friend & begin to try break down the burned on junk. Use a scratchy pad that has no wool.I use one that has a sponge on one side and this other scratchy stuff on other. When you see a break thru, do it again, spray w/mean green, & put some baking soda on a rag & rub it into the burned area. Keep on & it will come out clean & like new. Rinse well w/clean rag & water when finished.

I use soft scrubb, if the area is really burned you will have to use a straight edged razor blade and scrap it off, I also use Greased Lightening every time I cook, just spray it on and let it set while doing dishes or loading the dishwasher and wipe clean and dry with a towel, this way you should avoid using the razor blade unless you really boild something over and it sticks to the surface.

WARNING - Do not mix any bleach product with any product containing amonia. It will create deadly gas.
Now relax.....get some vinegar, add a little water, spray on, wait 30 seconds, and scrub with one of those flat, green, scouring pads.

All you can do is try to scrape it off, which will probably result in scratches - try calling the manufacturer of the stove - perhaps they have a customer service line?

use a stove cleaner for stove tops & a razor blade. If you're careful, it will not scratch it
