depends. if they are always in need and never in good times then they are mofre of a whining pest who just looks for attention and does nothing to correct the situation. but a freind who rarely has bad times and does the best that they can is a friend in neesd and will truelly be there for you when you need the them in return. I have experiance with both kinds of "friends"

Not necessarily. A friend who helps a friend is a friend indeed. But if a friend is just plain needy that doesn't make them a friend at all. However, I do know that a nose in need needs Puffs indeed.

To a certain extent in need, then they just start using you, bringing you down with them and become a pest.

I had a friend that was very needy, she used me so I told her BYE BYE. I dont like being used when im being kind, this is kinda why I tend to not like to help people sometimes. I have another friend who did me wrong recently and I've just made it a point not to be where she can reach me

yes a friend in need is a friend in-deed. that is a very true saying if a friend doesnt need something then they wouldnt be a friend, because a person who needs a friend is in need of a friend.
