At 18 and 21 you have the strength and stamina
At 40 you have the time and disposable income
My ideal age would be 30.

I am in my mid 40's and definitely 40 is when the best days of your life start. You finally start knowing who you are what you want out of life. The small stuff doesn't bug you because when you were much younger? All that small stuff seemed so overwhelming and now it is nothing. I would never want to relive my younger days even if it meant losing the wrinkles!

Your life has already begun... the real question is, when do you make the choice to become who you can be? (not saying you haven't yet) Some people have it figured out at earlier ages... some people take until their 40's to really see the big picture. The truth is, when we're younger we think we have forever to get things accomplished... when we're older we understand that we have a limited amount of time to go where we want to go.

Life changes at each age but I would say 40 as your children are growing up, you can start doing more things for yourself and with hindsight and wisdom you never had at 18 or 21...

Life begins when you are ready to live it. What do I mean by live it? I mean make decisions about what you want your life to be and live it that way. For some people this happens younger, for some older, and for some it never happens. OPRAH said on one of her shows that for her 40 was a turning point because she stopped caring what other people thought and started CARING ABOUT WHAT SHE THOUGHT!!! I hope that my memory or her statement is accurate because it was some time ago. And I purpose that we could use that as a marker of when we are TRULY LIVING.

My life has just begun at 21. I moved out and I am living in Florida.
But for some people, life begins at 18.
