Sounds to me like you need to stop divorce proceedings and work on your marriage. Go back and do the things with and to each other that you did before the marriage went "flat". It's very possible to rekindle the love and retain your "25-year-investment.

Wow. Reading your story was like reading a mirror image of mine. I know you posted this 4 years ago so times have probably changed. Hopefully things went well. I would say to move in with the boyfriend and suffer consequences(if any). I moved out when I had 3 children and was unknowingly pregnant with a 4th. It was a really hard struggle with NO child support. I worked two jobs just to make ends meet and that was also WITH foodstamps. I reconnected with an old schoolmate who suggested we move in so he could help me. I said no and just struggled another year thinking it would take a toll on the divorce proceedings. What a mistake that was!!! I took him to child support court and although he was ordered to pay he didn't. The ex left and has not been seen for a couple years. When I look back I should've accepted the offer from the "new" man who sincerely wanted to help. All the comments about it's too soon, or wait until the final divorce, etc etc.. they just don't understand. It's better to BE THERE with your kids then to have to work THROUGH their life. My kids missed out on both parents during that time because he was gone and I was working. Now with that said, it's several years later and the divorce is still not final because he's no where to be found and they won't approve a NOP. So at this point would it really matter if the "new" boyfriend lives with me and the kids while still "married"....

I would contact an attorney.

If you guys cant come to an agreement on whos going to live there then more then likely it will be sold to the highest bidder and youll both be out on your butts.

As far as i know you are still responsible for taking care of her while your still married (befor the divorce is final) so get some legal guidence on that matter.

Good luck

Until the property is divided and made official by the court there is no reason you can't be there unless she has a protective order.

Get a lawyer but you can stay until it's final.

consult a good lawyer, before jumping to any conclusion, and do not break the law
