I believe you switched to AOL broadband. I don't think you will have lost points. If you're talking about points for Yahoo!Answers, then your ISP will not affect it. If BT or AOL have points I don't know anything about it.

Getting rid of an AOL account can be a problem. First try contacting AOL and ask them to close the account. If you have problems, ie, they continue to charge your credit, here is what a couple of friends had to do. They contacted their credit card company and reported the card "lost". The credit card company issued a new card with a different account number. So when AOL attempted to do their little automatic monthly charge, they found the account to be closed. Sorry, but AOL can be a pain. So can the rest of the "online" service providers, MSN, Peoples PC, Net Zero, etc.

Whats your question? I used to be an aol customer myself when I was early in my computer literacy. I use bellsouth myself I always had pop ups and stuff with Aol but that was before pop up blockers too. But anything is better than dial up in my opinion. What points?
