NO the child support is only based on the actual parent's income - not the joint income.

NO. CHILD SUPPORT COMES OUT OF THE PERSON'S PAYCHECK. UNLESS NEW SPOUSE GIVES THE PARENT $$ FOR CHILD SUPPORT.

I have heard that in some area they go by household income but in my state it goes by the actual biological parents only.
