why cant i sit down in spades room even though my user name shows?

1st thing you do when you get in lounge is check small windows in options box.once in room make sure you expand it to see chat area..this also gets rid of the ads. This info is not found in yahoo help pages!

Yahoo has a new format. Here are several things you should know and do:

Make sure that the "Enable Java" box is checked.
Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh OS X

Select "Preferences" from the "Explorer" menu.
Select "Java" from the left navigation bar.
Place a check-mark next to "Enable Java."

You may also want to clear your cache and restart your browser. Also, if you have a pop-up blocker click on it, Click on always allow and add yahoo.games. Nothing gets rid of Yahoo ads. Choosing small table before you enter a room makes more room for dialog on table.

Maybe you have a popup blocker enabled, which you need to disable. Try holding down the ctrl key when you click play and see what happens. Or you if a yellowish box comes up at the top of the page (on the game) click on it and some questiony type sentences will come up. Click on the one that says "Always allow popups from this site" then you may have another box appear in the middle of the screen, click on yes always allow popups from this site, and then you are ready to play. If that doesn't happen then I don't know what to suggest, other than to enable Java, but when Java wasn't installed on my laptop I just couldn't get into any rooms to play any games.
