Many a time, more so with their assumptions about my friends or family...I don't get offended as easily as I used to, which makes me even more defensive of the people I love.

Yes, sometimes. But without making assumptions, There would be never ending questions concerning that person. Everyone does it, it's a subconscious thing.

Yes! It irritates me. I guess because it isn't really in my nature to assume things--I like getting all the info before I make a decision. And not just about people!
Anyway...I won't ramble. Then people might assume I talk too much!!

Yes, very much so. However, I am guilty of that myself, I'm afraid. But yes, it really tests my patience when people assume we are on the same page - it is impossible to have a conversation with someone who thinks they already know what you are thinking.

i think we don't see how and why everybody is so ignorant. purely such as you we get annoyed. we are happy the way we are, so are you, so be happy!
