People sign up for an account. They edit their profile and create their space . Other members go on and comment and view others' sites. It is a community based site.

MySpace is a SQL database, and operates on an overlay principle. The basic page always stays, and as you access any particular record (or member name, if you prefer), that member's preferences and design are overlayed on the main page. The layers of the page are broken down to allow for flash presentations and advertisements, as well as other "moveable" sections.
Maybe you wanted to know how to become a member...hm.

This is fairly broad. You should go over to myspace and explore how it works for yourself, so that you can write about it in an informed manner.
Once you write your report, go to Homework Help and post your report and ask for people to critique it for you, for things like spelling, grammar, coherency, etc.
