I am about 15 weeks pregnant, I just had the weirdest thing happen. I don't know if it was wishful thinking or what, but I was sitting down and all of a sudden my stomach about an inch below my bellybutton and to the right side started twitching or something, and I thought that maybe it was the baby, but, it was really fast and lasted for about a minute. It felt a little like a spasm, but i don't know if the baby is still too little for me to feel it that well. And does this happen to anyone else...

That was probably your baby. At first it feels like a small, weird sort of flutter or twitch. You might notice this more often at rest time especially if you've been active all day. Activity lulls the baby to sleep just as rocking a newborn does. As the months go by they will become much stronger due to a lack of space. You'll actually be able to see a fist or some other unnamed body part poking out and moving. It's really quite a miracle. :)

It could have been your baby, no promises though. If this is your first pregnancy you probably won't feel it until after 18 weeks although if you are really thin it may be earlier. I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second, with my first I didn't feel my baby kick until about 21 weeks I am also a bit on the heavier side. With this child I felt the baby move about 2 weeks ago so it is possible but it usually doesn't last for a minute it kinda feels like a butterfly fluttering for a second. Hope this helped Congrats to you.

That actually sounds like what I felt early on. Really really fast fluttering kinda like a muscle spasm. It still feels like that now only much stronger, and iam 6 1/2 months. But its still the muscle spasm feeling.
You might not feel anything at all for a few weeks on end, when theyre that small they have to be resting just right for your body to feel them move. I felt movement at 14 weeks, and then nothing again until about 18, and then from 20 on i could really tell without a doubt that it was the baby moving.

Sounds like it was probably the baby. It kinda does just feel like a flutter, or a spasm. It feels funny, but you kinda miss it when its gone!

you should start feeling the baby move around 4months and since you are almost 4months it might have been your baby , since the 1st movements feel just like muscle spasms , and late on in your pregnany when they get the hicups it feels the same way.

That sounds exactly like when I felt my first baby move for the first time. :) I was standing at a check out counter in a restuarant and I blurted out to the lady cashier - "My baby just moved for the first time!" She just stared at me and made no comment at all. I felt so sad for her. I was so excited!!
I'm excited for you! Congratulations and hope all goes really well for you and your baby!

Maybe it was your baby and you're farther along than you think.
