depends on OS u are running.
If u have win backup utility (start - programs-accessories-system tools - backup), u can use that.
main con: u cann't backup it another removable disk.
pros : free.
or u can use backup software.
say True Image (have read hundredns of possitive reviews after downloaded and it's working fine for me).
pros:
1) u can save ur backup on any removable disk.
2) if u need u can backup full disk
cons : it's not free, but it's worth buying (~45$).

goto the drive in which u have kept ur files(try to use one drive for the files u want backup)and right click and select backup and follow the wizard to take the backup of ur drive.

put the files on another hard drive, a CD, or a flash drive.
