Since the Braves aren't in it this year, I'll stay in the NL East and root for the Mets (my buddy is a die-hard Mets fan, about time I gave him a turn in the playoffs)

But since that isn't an option, I'm pulling for St. Louis, for no other reason than I can't stand Detroit, & I have fond memories of visiting St. Louis as a little girl. How's THAT for some ridiculous reasoning??!!
