I think Dave is the best singer for Van Halen. He was that band.
Sammy seems like a better guy, like I could hang out with him. I liked his stuff in VH too.
Gary has a good voice but the band was already gone by the time he joined up. Not his fault.

David Lee Roth IS the voice of Van Halen! Sammy Hagar was the energy of Van Halen. Gary Sharone, I don't have an opinion on him.

Sammy Hagar was. They had more commercial hits with him than VH did with David Lee Roth. Gary Sharone (the ex lead singer of Extreme) didn't last very long at all though he has a good voice.

Dave was a better performer- Van Halen was never the same after he "left"

Dave was the better singer, but his solo career was pretty sucky, except for Eat 'Eam And Smile. Remember that album?
