Download a FTP program like Smart FTP client:

If you are on a Mac you could try either iLife '06's iWeb program (comes with every new Mac) or the really great and extensible RapidWeaver (which is older than iWeb and more capable). Both are drag and drop and incredibly easy to use. RapidWeaver seems to make really good XHTML 1.x standard code and integrates CSS in a very nice way. If you're not on a Mac.. well umm hmm.. there's gotta be something out there. The only thing other than Dreamweaver that PC folks talk about is Nvu which is based on Mozilla and is nice, but I could just use the HTML Composer app in Mozilla or Seamonkey and get the same result. Both are not Content and Layout apps like iWeb and RapidWeaver.

You can try making the site read information from separate files or have iframes instead. Have a PHP include statement so it reads information like a blog from a XML or text file or some other kind of file...
