No way. Just look at what happened to Cheifs QB Trent Green with a helmet. He got a major concussion and was out a few weeks. That would have been far worse without helmets.

No. Protection of the head is important. Without a helmet, someone can easily die from excessive brain damage.

That is about as brilliant as making motorcycle helmets optional. Absolutely not!

no that is a safety thing you could get your head severly damaged doing that kind of thng. in the little giants the little kid sinks down and this guy takes off his helmet and ya. but your life is in danger w/o a helmet.stupid question.

Yeah!! and next there should not be anymore hitting or tackling, everyone must now wear flags around the waist, its alot safer to play flag football.
