Ten year olds get asked to the movies by another parent of one of her friends. Let us know how old this guy is who asked her to the movies. Tell her parent(s). If you do not think her parents are responsible and will protect her, tell your parents and ask them for help. Actually, tell your parents anyway, an adult has experience that you don't have in solving problems. Children under 14 should only go in groups. Children under 16, if she was my daughter would only go in a group. Imagine the pressure a 10 year old feels when asked to go to a movie and she doesn't know what to say except "okay" because young girls and boys think they always have to please everyone. They don't. She should say to the guy, "I'm sorry, but my parents won't let me go to a movie unless it is a school group or a birthday party." That would solve it.
