here is how i imagine: i don't see God like an old guy standing there and wait for prays.i think at jesus like a smart dude (in antichity,people were smarter,i know is sad,and Darwin said this is not evolution,is involution) how knew that people have an inner energy,strenght that make them above all living creatures.that why sometimes you say your soul is the one that guides you,not the brain.so beliving in God id actually beliving in yourself,in your one energy,power,your chi wich is your own inner friend that never betrays you.so when you pray you earn trust in that energy and you will belive more and more that it helps you lot and even makes miracles.miracles that are actually made by you.and i ask you: do you have something to lose if you belive in this energy??in this God? i don;t think so.just try it no matter how fool it looks to you.

Just because God may be / is "inside you" doesn't mean God IS you.
And i don't think you need to pray FOR God; God's probably doing OK even without your prayers.
But you might want to pray TO God. Heck, even if you're not sure whether there's a God or not (and NOBODY can be SURE - that's why faith is needed), it certainly can't hurt any to pray.
I mean, what have you got to lose, pray tell?

Why just believe that he is inside you? How do you search the god inside you? by imagination or make believe? You have to find out if you are godly, then if you are, sure god is inside you. Check your attitude, your mind, your emotion. Are you godly the totality of you? I think those who are ungodly are the ones praying, they are looking for god outside of themselves.

Well how do you define prayer ? maybe prayer is a stillness of mind letting God be God and resting quietly in His presence . It is not always a question of asking for favours but rather accepting that He knows before we can formulate it in our minds what is best for us. God is so beyond our imagination that we have to be led by His spirit not Him by us ! (as if!) This is not to suggest that you should go into a trance but be attentive to a faith in his reality . I do not think that anyone arrives at a definite place of faith like a spiritual train station ! rather the train is always nearly at its destination and we are like expectant travellers on a journey ( of faith )

Pray for forgiveness that you will acknowledge in your own mind that you will remember who you are. God has nothing to do with this world, so should you become as little children.

You have to keep looking "learning" as in studying, as in praying. God is inside us all , but you have to keep searching by learning to find how he wants to use you. you pray for strength to learn and use what he gives to you freely. It is entirely your choice to make. I pray you make the right one

because you are praying for yourself. You are giving yourself strength. I mean I'm not christian I'm buddhist but that is the understanding that I get from it.

Because no one really knows where "God" is, or if it is. So they make up all kinds of similes and metaphores to try and get you to buy into their own confusion about things.
