The pump may be bad or the pump seal or the drain hose. Check both. Also check the seal for the washer barrel (where you put the clothes in) itself. The seal may have rotted out.

First check the hoses. I bet that they are tight. My Kenmore did the same thing, it was the water pump. It looks like it's time for a new washer.

Most likely the seals on the pump or the pump itself has gone out.

there is a gasket under there that is between the pump housing.that is usually the problem.also check your hoses under there ,maybe it just needs to be tightened up
