Go to the hospital, especially if your contractions get closer together. The rule of thumb is typically 4 minutes. Abdomen tightness is usually not a good sign and does indicate contractions. Back pain is also a sign of labor. Because it is so early in your pregnancy, they may be able to stop the labor or continue it in such a way that your baby will have a good chance of surviving out of the womb.

Yeah you should have gone to the doctors long ago. Thats not right at all. period pains and hip pains and crotch pains are normal.
But a runny discharge that is constant like that is usually your water breaking, and you shouldnt be having contractions that close together nor should they be that regular at all.
You need to wise up a little and get yourself to the doctor. Generally about the time you start to wonder... is this normal? its worth atleast a phone call to the OB's office, they have after hour on call people 24/7.

it sounds like you need to go to the hospital asap! in some cases if it is labor they can stop it. you wont be going for nothing, you will be going to ease your mind. if it is labor, you will need as much medical care as possible at 29 weeks.

I think you would be smart to call your Ob and she will tell you if you need to go to the hospital. OB''s are real good about taking you in emergency cases and the nurses will know too. Sounds like prelabor to me.

Call your doctor NOW. Its always better to be safe than sorry! Please call now and speak to someone IMMEDIATELY!!
The doctors can give you something to stop labor. Its still too early for that baby to come out.
