lol at the phone answer (sure ya gonna get reception!! fool) it would have to b someone like jessica alba, not only is she fine a fcuk, but i think people would try harder to find her than just me by meself!!!!! (did wanna say boat!! but then i wouldnt have been stranded!!!)

If I am allowed one thing (the term allowed means that there are conditions and one finds conditions in a game) then that would mean that someone knows where I am, so I don't need a phone, I would have Tom Hanks staying with me; he has some experience (...remember Cast Away) on how to live on a desert island.

does "thing" mean -- an object or any thing --includes humans and/or animals too -- you have to specify so we can satisfy your curiosity. I hope you are not on the stranded island yourself -- right now..so the real and good answer could wait a bit. In case -- you need it right now -- i would go for a woman my age -- not too old, not too young -- middle size, not a midget -- not a huge one either, weight medium -- healthy yes, hard worker yes and a lot of other qualities hard to put on paper. Let me first be stranded on that famous island (hope it not in the tropics or Alaska) -- the Mediterranean is OK or pacific like around Tahiti etc. You gave us all the envy to dream, dream and dream. Hope this answer will satisfy you. are you writing a book or something?
