I want to get pregnant, my boyfriend and I really aren't ready for a child yet but I want one so bad. I'm on the pill and I plan to stop so the next time he ejaculates there will be a greater chance on me getting knocked up. Would you recommend this?

i stopped reading at "my boyfriend and i really arent ready for a child yet..." okay if you're not ready for a child, dont have one! are you financially stable? do you have a good home? are you in school or college? how old are you? plus i would wait till you are married until you have kids. does your boyfriend know you want to do this?

You want to get pregnant, but you and your boyfriend really aren't ready for a child! How about if you and your boyfriend give a single thought to the child you're planning to create? This is a life decision and not to be taken lightly. You sound extremely immature to me and should wait a while before getting pregnant. If you have the baby and decide you're not having "fun" what happens next? Please wait until you are older, able to get married, and able to support a baby. They cost a lot of money - clothing, diapers, food, doctors appointments, furniture, etc. Oh, how I hope you will think about this logically. I'm not trying to be mean, but have had five children. It is a lifetime commitment.

There is no wait time on the pill like there is with the depo shot. The depo shot takes up to a yr or longer most of the time before a woman can get pregnant. The birth control pill doesnt take anytime at all. Even if you miss one pill you could still get pregnant. Good luck

It sounds like you aren't ready for a child, just like you say. You referring to it as "getting knocked up" instead of pregnant shows your maturity level, and I am guess that your not even out of high school yet. Please think twice. Babies are hard work. You may ignore my plea and become "knocked up" anyway, so when you are juggling a crying baby, house work, bills, and no high school diploma...you should think about being a good mom, getting your GED and going to college so you can work some place other than fast food. Good luck!

Everyone is different but ifyou don't think you're ready do you think that's a wise move? its worth waiting until you're ready, trust me, i had to wait ten broody years to have a baby! I was on the pill and it took me a long time to get pregnant afterwards because stopping taking it made me bleed for six months straight but that might just be me. we're all different and it effects us all differently. but i would seriously consider your options. if you're not ready and its only cos you're broody isn't that a little selfish and not even considering what kind of a life you could offer a child? think about it.

Don't have a baby unless you are POSITIVE that you want one. They cost so much and they take to much time out of your day. Think of it. No more going out with your friends alone, you always have to bring your baby. No more clubs any of that fun stuff. Wait until you are married and have husband that will help pay for the child. They go through 28 diapered a day that is expensive.

I hope you're kidding. You know that neither of you are ready for a child, yet you're going to trick your boyfriend into having one anyway? NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS. It is a terrible idea.

It depends on your body and hormones. You could actually get pregnant as soon as you stop the pill.
