First, don't freak out. I've heard stress causes acne and such.
Second, wash your face thoroughly once in the morning and twice at night to remove debris. Try not to wash it TOO much. Your skin may become irritated.
Third, drink lots of water, and DON'T touch your face!
Fourth, don't overdo it on the medications. You might just end up with a giant red rash all over your face rather than zits, or maybe even both! That wouldn't be too great either.
Fifth and finally, try applying toothpaste onto your zits and the area around them. After a while, gently wash the toothpaste off with lukewarm water. It should help to reduce the redness and size.
Another remedy I've tried is dabbing Listerine mouthwash onto my blemishes with a cotton swab. It worked for me and made the blemish considerably less noticable.
I've also used Visine eyedrops on my blemishes, and that has worked well before too.
Ice is good for reducing swelling. Just wrap an ice cube in a napkin or paper towel and lightly press it to your skin.
Just remember, hands off -- your skin has oils! Don't apply too much makeup on the spot before picture day, either. Also, DON'T pick at them! Not only will the blemishes spread, but also, 'wet' blemishes are harder to cover than dry ones. They're also more noticable if they start to bleed.
On picture day, make sure your face is well-moisturized. Then, apply a light foundation over the most noticable spots. Finish with a light powder to cover.
As for the smiling thing, just laugh like you do normally, and that should be your natural smile.
Hope this helps!

Wash your face everyday with a mild soap, put on a mask it will make your skin soft and smooth, the day of put on concelar , foundation and bronzer, and if you still don't like the way you look close your eyes in the picture so you can get a re-do and then you'll have another week to work on it! Good luck!

those spot things for overnight work real well like they at least make the redness and swelling go down a lot in one night, a couple nights and pimples go away completely for me with those. just make sure you wash your face when you wake up and before you go to bed and don't exfoliate where you have pimples cuz that'll irritate them more. and use concealer and foundation the day of. concealer that's green works best and it isn't green once you put foundation on over it. if you're comfortable with your smile then smile with your teeth showing.

Smile with your teeth showing, and use some foundation and concealer before your pictures.

Talk to the photographer. There is so much equipment, he probably owns something that will airbrush your flaws. Just tell him to re-touch your pictures. I had that done in 1957, I know they have better equipment now.

White toothpaste dabbed on the spots. I don't know what's in it, but many have recommended it here and it seems to work.
